individuals
I work with people who are seeking support for a range of experiences, transitions, and relationship challenges. I approach therapeutic work from an eclectic and integrative perspective, drawing from humanistic, psychodynamic, relational, and Imago theories. I consider you the expert on your own life, and I believe in letting you lead the way. My approach is not about worksheets or homework; instead, I focus on going deep together, exploring the layers of your thoughts and feelings to uncover what lies beneath the surface. Our work is about creating space for self-discovery and understanding, allowing you to reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been hidden or neglected.
couples & relationships
I am passionate about supporting couples and people in all types of relationships, because we weren’t meant to do life alone! We all have a primary need for relatedness and connection. Unfortunately for us, though, we don’t always have the tools to create and maintain the connections we crave.
As an Imago Relationship Therapist, I help clients:
Communicate more effectively (even about the hard topics!).
Build empathy between partners and expand tolerance for one another’s unique perspectives and experiences.
Understand what patterns and dynamics are happening and why.
Co-create a space between them that is free from negativity and criticism.
Explore how early experiences and attachments affect present relationships.
Engage in relationships more intentionally and consciously.
I welcome the opportunity to work with couples and individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ and heterosexual, monogamous and non-monogamous, and those who are curious about or engage in diverse sexual practices. I am sex-positive, kink-aware, and CNM-affirming.
All are welcome
I value a therapeutic space in which all people feel welcome, understood, listened to, and valued, and I am committed to affirming all gender, sexual, ethnocultural, national, and religious identities. I welcome individuals of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, religious practices, size, and ability statuses with humility, openness, and respect.
i love working with couples and individuals who are:
Tired of how things have been and are ready to make shifts happen.
Willing to slow down and embrace their emotions.
Curious about why they are the way they are.
Ready to explore and process past relationships and patterns.
Seeking greater connection and meaning in their lives.
Learning to cope with the ups and downs of life.
Hoping to challenge painful feelings and experiences that they are carrying.
Looking to strengthen their sense of identity to create a more whole, balanced self.
